Jones DalPonte

Beloved Doggo, Jones DalPonte,  4, of Nashport, crossed over the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, following his brave battle with lymphoma. Jones was born on April 3, 2021, and found his fur-ever family on May 25, of 2021.  Jones's hobbies were chewing up his toys, playing with his dog cousins, stealing and eating random objects off of the kitchen counter (sticks of butter, tootsie rolls, pillow stuffing, you name it). He also enjoyed road trips to visit his Memaw and Bubba and trips to Star Bucks for his favorite "pup cups".  Jones loved small children and spending time with his family. 

Jones was extremely loyal to his humans, his Mama Heather DalPonte whom he followed everywhere and slept with every night, his "baby" Gwyn DalPonte, whom despite not being the most ferocious of guard dogs, he protected fiercely. No one messed with Gwyn in Jones's presence,  and his "bro" and best buddy Grant DalPonte. Jones was always ready to play when Grant walked through the door and always felt like "one of the guys" when he got to hang out in Grant's room. A great conversationalist, his entire family will miss walking through the door and talking to Jones, who was a very verbal pup, and they will miss his big puppy eyes that helped him get away with all of the mischief that he got into. 

Jones's family would like to extend a special thank you to Doc Mary Smith for her patience and compassion in Jones's final days and the Loving Companion Pet Crematory for their loving care and concern.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the LOVING COMPANION PET CREMATORY and the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
